What is ALC?
The Association of Language Companies (ALC) was founded in 2001. It is a U.S.-based international trade association, representing businesses that provide language services to any type of client, from government language training to group classes focused on personal and professional topics. As a trade association, it represents the industry to the rest of the world. ALC is focused on increasing visibility and positions itself as the voice of the industry in the United States. ALC brings together the people that lead these companies (including language schools in dc) so that we can all learn from each other. These connections develop into strong partnerships, and even friendships. ALC gives companies opportunities to find each other for collaboration, networking, knowledge sharing, and mentoring (Source: ALC website).
