English through movies

English Through Movies is an 8-week evening elective course designed around global themes such as education, income inequality, immigration, discrimination, aging/retirement, and happiness. The course aims to develop and enhance critical thinking, speaking skills, and discussion strategies.  Each week, students will be asked to watch an entertaining yet thought-provoking movie and participate in various discussions and role-playing activities using key vocabulary.
